Dungey quickly asserted himself up front, opening up an
early gap over Canard who began a heated battle with Villopoto.
Eventually, the Kawasaki rider moved his way into second and set
his sights on his rival.
After yet another
memorable night of bar-banging action, Babbitt's Monster
Energy/Ti Lube Kawasaki's Josh Demuth, of North Richland
Hills, Texas, raced to his second straight victory and third
overall win of the season.

"I felt good after practice at Anaheim 3, and I feel
like we had a good set up on the bike," said Dungey.
"But the track was tough. Right from the beginning it was
really rutted and it made for some good racing."
